Where to Base
If you’re looking for the perfect place to base and enjoy Italy’s Prosecco region, this is it!

Mani Sagge is a boutique winery and B&B and in my opinion your BEST option for visiting this area of Italy! Before we get into all that…
Why Visit the Prosecco Hills?
First of all… why not?
There are a number of itineraries that make the Prosecco Hills a great spot to visit.
- You may be visiting the Veneto Region of Italy and this fits in perfectly
- You may be traveling between Venice and the Dolomites and this is an excellent place to stop in the middle.
- You may take a “day trip” or overnight from Venice, I very much advise you to stay a night though, it is SO worth it.
- You just want to! You go here on purpose because it’s an amazing place to visit!
More about Mani Sagge & What to do In Prosecco
Upon arrival we were stunned by the view. The patio overlooks the most beautiful vineyards and you can see the Dolomites in the distance beyond all the vines. There are nice tables and also scattered lawn chairs so you can just relax, sip a Prosecco, and be happy to be where you are.
We spent a considerable amount of our visit on the patio just enjoying the views. We even split a bottle of Prosecco before leaving the following morning which is very unlike us!

The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the bed was fantastic. We loved the personal feel and we knew all of the staff by the time we were leaving. This is the kind of place where they just treat you so well from start to finish and it makes all the difference.
If you like getting out and about they also had e-bikes for rent. We took full advantage of them! We biked to Conegliano for a few hours to check things out. It was a sleepy but delightful town. We were able to grab some gelato, explore a bit, visit the castle, and of course taste some Prosecco up at at the castle as well. The castle is high up on a hill overlooking so many beautiful vineyards, some of which were owned by Mani Sagge!

One of the things I loved about Mani Sagge was that they also provided a full tasting of their offerings and the best charcuterie to go with it! We learned so much about the types of Prosecco and about the production. Now we know what to look for when we are shopping at home. Hopefully someday we’ll be able to find their Prosecco in the states because we honestly LOVED it.

We also had a fantastic dinner here and they had a really nice varied menu. We tried a bunch of different dishes and all of them were wonderful. It was so wonderful to eat here while watching the sunset over the vineyards.

The next morning I went for a nice run down the main road through all of the vineyards and sites. Before leaving they gave us a tour of the production and we got to see how they make the Prosecco underground which was really neat. We loved learning more about the product and how it all started and more about the Prosecco Hills in general.

Overall our visit was absolutely incredible and I would highly recommend a day in the Prosecco Hills and would ENCOURAGE you to book Mani Sagge.
