This post will contain a number of delicious Paris treats and where to find them! If I am being honest, we devoured each treat immediately right outside the establishment that we got them from. However, if you fancy having your treat in a lovely spot, check out my “pairings”!

Berthillion: Ice Cream (one of the most classic Paris treats)
I can not express enough how absolutely delightful this ice cream is. This is an iconic spot in Paris that is family run on the Ile Saint Louis. This has been rated the best ice cream in Paris over and over and I assure you we can see why. The original shop is incredibly beautiful and has that old Paris charm.
The great thing about Berthillion is that now you can get it in a couple places on the Ile Saint Louis and you don’t have to queue at the storefront. There are smaller shops that serve it from windows and at least one restaurant on the Ile that we’ve had it at as well. So if you walk up and see a big queue, do not be deterred. Just walk a little further. You can NOT go wrong with flavor, we’ve tried about 4 up to this point and all were FANTASTIC! Make sure you don’t skip out on some of the fruit flavors too (it’s what made them famous to start). This is now a non negotiable spot for me on every trip to Paris!

Where to find it: On the Ile Saint Louis in the main shop, address : 31 Rue Saint-Louis en l’Île, 75004 Paris, France. Alternatively you can find it in many shop windows and cafes on the Ile.
$$$: cost will vary depending on sizes, flavors, how much you want to try etc. but budget about 5-10 euros
Website: Berthillion Ice Cream
Pair it with: A walk around the charming Ile Saint Louis. This beautiful spot is often overlooked because of more popular spots like the Latin Quarter, St Germain, and the Notre Dame. But don’t skip this spot! It is so lovely to walk around and feels like you’re strolling through the history of Paris!

Pierre Hermé: Ispahan Croissant (one of the most surprising Paris treats)
Well first of all, Pierre Hermé has been voted “Worlds Best Pastry Chef” (among other prestigious awards). This should tell you all you need to know already. This spot looks a little more high end and has some fancier things. But the thing you can’t miss… is the Ispahan Croissant. This croissant is filled with rose & raspberry, glazed with lychee scented icing and has dried raspberry and rose sprinkled on top. If this sounds wild to you, just trust me, it’s unreal. The croissant itself is also perfect, buttery and just the right amount of flakey.

Where to find it: There are multiple locations, but they don’t all have this precise croissant. We found it at the location near the Jardin du Luxembourg, address: 43 rue Saint-Placide
$$$: 6-7 euros
Website: Pierre Hermé
Pair it with: Grab this one and take a walk to see Sainte Chapelle. A little longer of a walk (20 mins) but worth it as it is absolutely beautiful.

Maison Louvard: Crookie (one of the most viral Paris treats)
So nice we went back twice! This thing went viral years ago now, but I can assure you, it is STILL worth the hype. The great thing is, you don’t have to wait in any crazy queues anymore. There are a number of spots you can find this treat in Paris now, but Louvard started it. The first time we went we loved it, the second time they were warm out of the oven and HOLY MOLY it was heaven.
This is essentially exactly what it sounds like, a mating between a croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. It is so doughy and delightful, it almost tastes half-baked in the BEST way. Honestly we split one the first time and it was a deep regret. If you’re traveling with friends, get your own!

Where to find it: The great thing about this spot is that it’s nearby to my fav area of Paris, the 18th arrondissement. The address is : 11 Rue de Châteaudun, 75009 Paris, France
$$$: It cost about 6 euro and truly is worth every cent.
Website: Maison Louvard
Pair it with: Walking through the “Passages”. The passages are one of Paris most fabulous secrets in my opinion. They are like little magical alleys full of cool shops, restaurants, and even hotels. If you put “Passages des Panoramas” in your maps, you’ll be able to find one and then you can kind of weave through an interconnecting maze of them!

Puffy: Chocolate chip cookie (the Paris treats we almost missed!)
I am embarrassed to admit, we didn’t know about this place. When we peered in the window we couldn’t stop ourselves from going in. I am so thankful we did as it was the most delightful Paris treat! It lives up to it’s name “Puffy” and is the most thick and delicious cookie! It was FULL of chocolate and cooked so perfectly well! They had a TON of flavors but the original chocolate chip just looked too good to resist. I know Griffin will drag me back here on a return trip to Paris.

Where to find it: They have multiple locations throughout the city, but if you want to pair this one with Babka Zana (later in this list) the address you’re looking for is: 65 rue Condorcet 75009 Paris
$$$: It cost about 3 euro
Website: Puffy
Pair it with: A visit to the “Wall of I Love You”. This is a delightful little park in Paris that has a blue tiled wall with the words “I Love You” in all the different languages of the world all over it. I love people watching here and taking a pic each time!

Chapon: Chocolate Mousse (a common Paris treat, but to-go)
The minute I saw this place on social media I knew I had to go. The caption was “would you spend 6 euro on this cup of chocolate mousse”. In my heart I already knew I’d spend way more. They have a few different styles, we enjoyed the mild flavor a bit more than the dark. They also add a little flavor boost if you choose. We tried almond milk and a floral flavor. It was absolutely delightful, so light and fresh and easy to eat! We thought there would be a line out the door, but luckily we were able to stroll right in when we visited. You could easily walk right by this spot, so make sure you don’t!

Where to find it: The address is : 69 Rue du Bac, 75007 Paris, France you can find it near
$$$: 6 euros
Website: Chapon Paris
Pair it with: A walk around the Luxembourg Gardens! The gardens are so lovely to see and walk around and are only a 5 minute walk from this delightful Paris treat! You can also check out the Grand Mosque of Paris if you’re in the are and interested as it is very close by too!

French Bastards: Cookie Roll (Paris treats you didn’t know you needed)
This one is a chain spot and you’ll see them in a few places in Paris. It was very enjoyable and unique which we liked. The cookie roll is kind of similar to the crookie in that it is made with a mix of croissant and a cookie. This time though, the croissant is chocolate and rolled on the bottom, there is cookie dough on top, and it has a chocolate filling. This thing is so interesting and delicious and absolutely worth a try. We’d like to go back and try some of their other delights as well.

Where to find it: There are multiple locations throughout the city.
$$$: about 6 euro (are you sensing a theme here)
Website: French Bastards
Pair it with: A walk down the Rue Des Martyrs. This street is, in my opinion, one of the best & most lively and fun in Paris. Honestly, this whole street is full of Paris treats. There are a truly incredible amount of food stops and shops along this street and it is SO nice to walk up and down! You could spend hours here just popping in shops and tasting things!

Bachir: Pistachio Topped Ice Cream
This place honestly blew my mind and I can’t believe I didn’t learn about it until our most recent visit. They serve Lebanese ice cream and they will dip it in toppings like an epic pistachio mixture (which they are famous for). The day we went, they had a “milk” flavored ice cream on special. We absolutely loved it covered in the pistachio topping. The ice creams are made with special ingredients like rose water and orange blossom and the taste absolutely shines through. I know this is a spot we’ll return to again and again in Paris. It also helps that its in Montmartre at the foot of the Sacre Cœur, which is one of my favorite areas in all of Paris. Nothing better than Paris treats in my favorite neighborhood.

Where to find it: Right at the foot of the Sacre Cœur Complex, address: 58 Rue Rambuteau, 75003 Paris, France
$$$: around 5-7 euro
Website: Bachir Ice Cream
Pair it with: A visit to the Sacre Cœur! Walk up the beautiful lawn and steps to the top, visit the church for free. I highly recommend paying the 8 euro to go up in the tower as well and see all of Paris from above. It is truly such an incredible viewpoint!

Philippe Conticini: Giant Pain Au Chocolat (the biggest Paris treats!)
When I saw this thing on social media I knew I had to have it. We were a bit concerned about what we would actually do with it, since it was so large. But let me tell you, it worked out perfectly. We planned to pick it upon our last morning in Paris. When we strolled into the shop there was a family sitting at a table eating one all together and they looked so happy. This would also be GREAT to bring to a party or picnic. Since we were all alone we picked ours up and headed to the nearest park. We took a bunch of photos (as one does) and then dove into the deliciousness. I was SERIOUSLY impressed with how good this was considering it was so large and seemingly just a publicity stunt. The chocolate inside was AMAZING and the pastry itself was so delicious and buttery too.
The best part was we brought it home with us on the plane. Then we cut it up and gave it to family members to reheat in their ovens that night! Everyone loved it and we were so happy we did it! Highly recommend this if you’re able to get one on your last day!

Where to find it: There are multiple locations around the city. We PRE-ordered ours so we didn’t have to stress about it. We walked right in and picked it up!
$$$: 36 euro for one big guy (trust me it’s actually worth it if you’re going to eat it).
Website: Philippe Conticini
Pair it with: A flight home to share it with your family!!! Families love Paris treats!

Babka Zana: Original Chocolate Babka
In case you’re unaware, Babka is a sweet braided bread that you can often find at Jewish Bakeries. It is made even more excellent with the addition of chocolate, or pistachio, or other surprising ingredients. This was a great babka, and it is right next door to “Puffy” so you can get two Paris treats for one! We tried the original chocolate babka but this spot also had a rose treat that looked absolutely delightful. They also had large options so you could take it for a group, or very mini options for an individual.

Where to find it: They have a few locations throughout the city, but if you want to pair it with a cookie from “Puffy” (listed above) than you’ll want this address: 65 Rue Condorcet, 75009 Paris, France
$$$: Mini babka about 6 euro. You could also get full size to take somewhere, or super small minis.
Website: Babka Zana
Pair it with: A slightly longer walk (15 minutes ish) but the Montmartre Cemetary. This is truly beautiful to walk around and explore. If that’s not your vibe, you could also eat your treat on the way to Terrass Hotel. Then have a drink on the rooftop when you get there! The hotel has a lovely view over Paris & the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

Maison Aleph: Pastry Nests (tiny Paris treats)
This spot is a Levantine bakery that is known for its special pastry “nests”. They are crispy little nest shaped pastries. they are described on their website as “molded and browned with clarified butter”. They are topped with different small treats or flavors & whipped cream. They are a tiny treat which is great! You can pop them right into your mouth and you can try a few of them. They really are delightful and also would be a great little gift or party favor if you lived in or were celebrating in the area.

Where to find them: Maison Aleph has two locations, we visited the one near the Marais neighborhood, address: 20 Rue de la Verrerie, 75004 Paris, France.
$$$: Depending on how many you buy, the price varies. You can get about 4 little nests for 10-15 euro. Or you can get boxes of them or try other things as well.
Website: Maison Aleph
Pair it with: A walk on the Seine. You are only a few minutes walk from the river here, so grab your nests and head down to the river for a beautiful stroll/pastry picnic. It is one of the best things to do in Paris.
